Hari Raya Bazaars

The festival of Eid is known as Hari Raya Adilfitri, or Hari Raya Puasa in Singapore. It falls on the first day of the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. The month of Ramadan, which precedes Hari Raya Adilfitri, is a month of fasting. But this doesn’t mean you can’t participate in the festivities even if you aren’t Muslim. During Ramadan, there are Hari Raya bazaars with a bewildering number of stalls peddling food, clothes, jewellery, home décor and more! Head down to the Geylang Serai or Tampines Bazaar after dinner to enjoy the biggest buzz, and explore to your heart’s content.
