Events in September 2015

Things have settled down after the whirlwind of national celebration in August, but that doesn’t mean September lacks for things to do! There are musicals, arts festivals and performances galore. Don’t miss out on eating mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival this month, and soak in some traditional Chinese culture at Moonfest while you’re at it.

Singapore International Festival of Arts 2015

Now in its 38th year, the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) is a long-standing staple of the local arts scene. From acts rooted in Singapore’s multi-racial and multi-cultural landscape – such as stand-up comedy Kumar’s Living Together – to performances rooted in a broader, shared human experience, SIFA is the festival to attend whether you are looking for theatre, dance, recitals or works that transcend simple categorisation.
