Singapore is an island of sunshine and a truly multicultural montage that is an ideal vacation destination for tourists seeking an adventurous but fuss-free holiday. Singapore is not only abundant with unique tourist spots but also equipped with amenities necessary to have access to all the worldly comforts you need whilst on your dream vacation. This city offers you the best of both worlds, where East meets West while still retaining all that Asiatic charm.

One of Singapore’s premier attractions is the island resort Sentosa. This touristy playground is visited by 5 million sightseers on a yearly basis and boasts beaches, hotels and an integrated resort housing the Universal Studios Singapore theme park. Amongst Sentosa’s other attractions are an observation tower offering visitors a panoramic view of Sentosa, Singapore and the Southern Islands, and a butterfly garden which is home to more than 50 butterfly species. Animal enthusiasts will also be thrilled by the S.E.A. Aquarium, where visitors will be treated to a deep sea spectacle featuring over 100,000 marine animals of more than 800 species from 49 different habitats. If you want to interact with pink dolphins or fur seals, head to the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon.

The latest of Sentosa’s attractions that has visitors everywhere buzzing is Resorts World Sentosa, with its diverse range of hotels from the rock ‘n’ roll inspired Hard Rock Hotel to the secluded and exclusive beach villas. Resorts World is also home to a myriad of world class restaurants including those of celebrity chefs such as Sam Leong and Joël Robuchon. The focal point of Resorts World is of course Universal Studios Singapore, where even adults can be kids for a day on board a multitude of rides and immersed in seven different fantasy worlds.

Another premier Singapore tourist spot is Marina Bay Sands (MBS). With its hotel, museum, shopping mall, casino and restaurants, it is a one stop vacation spot for those with longings for the luxurious life. Some of this sea swept destination’s specialties are the iconic Sands Skypark which offers stunning views of the Marina Bay area as well as its world famous restaurants and nightclubs such as Osteria Mozza and Pangaea.

Gardens by the Bay would make a fantastic floral stopover while en route to MBS. Enter Eden in the form of seven different gardens where flora and fauna from various climates and countries flourish in indoor and outdoor green spaces alike. Supertree dining also allows garden goers to enjoy the view as they tuck in to delicacies such as Texas fried chicken and wood-fired pizzas. Another dining venue worth mentioning is the Indochine bar that is panoramically located at the top of a Supertree and an ambient entertainment spot for those who wish to enjoy the city scape from a nocturnal garden. Gardens by the Bay also boasts a variety of unique entertainment venues including the Supertrees shaded Silver Leaf and the waterfront Flower Field Hall.

Located next to the ArtScience Museum at MBS is a Singapore River Explorer kiosk. It offers river tours as well as river taxi services via traditional bum boats and bubble jet crafts. Nearby is the Singapore Flyer. This 42-storey high giant ferris wheel contains 28 air-conditioned capsules, offering visitors a peek at Singapore from a whole different perspective. Along with this scenic ride, visitors can also enjoy dining at the flyer terminal.

Last but not least are must-visits for animal lovers. The Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and brand-new River Safari offer diverse perspectives of the animal kingdom. Head to the Singapore Zoo to gaze upon animals in their natural habitats in daylight. The Night Safari on the other hand exhibits the beauty of the animal kingdom under moonlight and is the world’s first park for nocturnal animals. For freshwater creatures, look no further than the River Safari. Giant Pandas are also housed at the River Safari.

Those who wish to roam Singapore will be delighted with the wide array of tourist attractions that are not only diverse in nature but unique to this ever blooming city state as well.
