2014 is almost over, but events are still aplenty. This month,  indulge in fairy tales, musicals, art, food, and meet your favourite stars from the hit variety show Running Man! 


Singapore Writers Festival

Literary lovers unite! The Singapore Writers Festival is one of Asia's premier literary events that showcases the world's major literary talents while giving voice our very own homegrown creative talents. This year's SWF takes a closer look at genres like romance, songwriting and the lyrical in literary fiction and poetry. For the non-fiction segment, expect to navigate the philosophy of aesthetics and physical appearances. The theme also draws attention to issues like threats to biodiversity and the environment.

An Ocean of Possibilities

Presented by the ArtScience Museum, An Ocean of Possibilities is one of the three unique photography exhibitions that will bring visitors on a journey to explore the world of photography through the lens of Art and Science. This exhibition highlights the efforts of people who challenge themselves on search of unconventionalities to plot their own courses and change the status quo. It comprises of curated individual series that focus on social developments, and will feature approximately 250 photos by 30 artists from 20 countries.

Run for Hope Singapore

Inspired by Terry Fox, a one-legged amputee who ran across Canada to raise money and cancer awareness in 1980, Run for Hope is an annual run organised to raise awareness and support for cancer research. An Acoustic Evening with Jason Mraz and Raining Jane

The Affordable Art Fair is one that celebrates art that won’t burn holes in your pockets! 2014 Vertical Marathon

Are you up for the challenge of scaling up one of Southeast Asia's tallest hotels? The Vertical Marathon is race is back, with runners competing against each other to race up 1,336 steps over 73 floors of the towering Swissotel in the shortest time possible. Runners will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the city skyline, the magnificent sunrise, and most importantly, the satisfaction of conquering flights and flights of stairs of an iconic, 226-metre high skyscraper.

Race Start Season 2 in Singapore Running Man Fan Meeting

Running Man fans, take heed! Your favourite stars are returning to Singapore after their Race Start! Running Man Fan Meeting in 2013.
