Elephant Parade Singapore 9 Jan 2012 – 11 Jan 2012 The Elephant Parade was set up when father and son Marc and Mike Spits found out about Mosha, a baby Thai elephant, losing a leg to a landmine. Its mission is still to become the world’s largest financial support organisation for Asian elephants. A Moving Masterpiece 7 Dec 2011 – 6 Feb 2012 In this melding of science and art, Song Dynasty masterpiece Qing Ming Shang He Tu (Along the River During the Qingming Festival) comes alive on a 128 metres by 6.5 metres screen. This depiction of Song Dynasty daily life by Chinese imperial court artist Zhang Ze Duan is magnified 30 times its original size, and over a thousand characters in the painting are animated into life.
