Calling all shutterbugs! A new museum that’s right up your alley has opened in Singapore. That’s right – you don’t have to worry about being told “no photography!” or not being able to touch the exhibits, because everything in the Alive Museum at Suntec City is for you to touch, feel and photograph. 

Play with Perspective

Head to the largest perspective-bending, eye-tricking museum in Singapore and you can experience the latest Korean export with your whole family. Alive Museum is a 4D visual illusion museum that spans over 10,000 square feet and has over 80 artworks for you to pose with and photograph, 8 of which are Singapore-themed and can only be seen here! Painted by Alive Museum’s own team of talented artists from South Korea, the artworks must meet their exacting standards before debuting in the museum.

Pose with superheroes, float in a paper boat, put on a pair of angel wings or even hang out on the porch of the house in hit animated Pixar movie Up – these are just some of the tableaus available at Alive Museum. You’ll come away with a ton of optical illusion photographs that will make people gasp and ask, “How did you do it?” Even better, complimentary WiFi means you can upload and share the shots on the spot!

Party with Penguins

In a first-ever collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, you and your friends and family can now become part of the movie and party with the Penguins of Madagascar! Surf the waves on a giant seashell with the penguins, go sky diving with them or open a manhole cover to discover the squad hiding underneath. You can even take the world-travelling penguins on a trishaw ride in Chinatown!

Do you like taking selfies? What about wefies? Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private, Classified and the rest of the motley crew are waiting for you! If you want to enter Dr Octavius Brine’s bubbling laboratory, do so at your own risk – he and his octopus henchmen are lurking here too. But hurry – the penguins are only here until the end of May 2015!
