Baggage Claim
There will be flight information screens listing the different baggage claim belts for each flight and trolleys will be made available near each belt. If any of your baggage is lost or damaged, you can contact the respective airline’s ‘Lost & Found’ counter.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) Flights
SIA operates from Terminal 2 and 3. SIA flights that are scheduled to touch down will be confirmed 2 hours before the estimated arrival time. The Terminals where they will be landing can be checked from the flight schedule screens around the airport.

Money Changers
No commission or hidden charges will be charged for all transactions.

Duty Free Shopping
Duty Free stores are located on level 2 Transit Mall and Level 1 Arrival Hall of all terminals, which carry a wide range of products from personal grooming to electronic gadgets all at duty free prices. Please note that each individual can only purchase 1 litre of liquor, wine and beer if you are above 18 years old, visiting from other countries except Malaysia and have been away from Singapore for at least 48 hours.

Goods & Services Tax (GST) Relief on Imported Goods
A 7% GST will be levied on all goods imported to Singapore. Tourist, returning citizens and permanent residents of Singapore will be granted GST relief on all articles except (Liquors and tobacco) up to their values shown at the table below. GST relief is not available to work permit, employment, student, dependent or long-term pass holders.

Enjoy Goods & Services Tax (GST) – Free Shopping in Singapore

• When shopping: Buy from shops that display ‘Tax Free Shopping or Premier Tax Free” Logos. If you spend more than $100 at any one shop; then obtain a Global Refund Cheque, Premier Tax Free Voucher or GST Claim Form from the shop
• At customs: Present your goods to Customs staff at the Departure Hall prior to checking in if the items are bulky, otherwise the goods can be presented at the Tax Office, Transit Mall after departure immigration. All goods must be accompanied by GST Claim Forms, Global Refund Cheque or Premier Tax Free Vouchers, receipts and passport.

• Collecting your refund: The refund can be in form of cash, Cheque, credited to your credit card or as a Changi Shopping Voucher which can be used at the airport to purchase items. A handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Clearing Customs
Proceed to the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare, if in doubt please go through the Red Channel.

Hotel Reservations
The counters are operational 24 hours a day to help you get a room at your preferred location. A deposit for the first night is required upon confirmation.
