It’s not the usual dull and dry museums. Sentosa Luge & Skyride Be the first to try out Southeast Asia’s first ever part go-cart and part-toboggan ride. The ride offers visitors of all ages a fun yet safe ride. Visitors will zoom down a hill in a cart which offers a unique steering and braking system which allows the riders to control their ride to match their preferences, be it a leisure ride down the hill or a adrenaline pumping one. Tiger Sky Tower Come on down to Singapore’s tallest observatory tower which stands at 131 metres above sea level. The Sky Tower has a capacity of 72 people at any one time in its enclosed air-conditioned 360 degrees view cabin which offers panoramic view of the whole of Singapore, Sentosa and the Southern Islands. Not just that, the Sky Tower is so tall that visitors are able to see the neighboring Malaysia and the Indonesian islands. Be it day or night, the views will definitely blow you away leaving you with scenic images in your mind. The Merlion & Merlion Walk Embrace yourself for the encounter with the biggest replica of Singapore’s most famous icon – The Merlion. Standing at an impressive 37 metres tall, this fish headed lion bodied creature features two viewing decks for visitors to have a breath taking views of Singapore. After visiting The Merlion, don’t forget to visit The Merlion Walk which features a 120 metre long mosaic walkway with fountains at the sides which offers a great view and even enjoy a splash or two for the kids. Sentosa 4D Magix Sentosa’s Magix 4d is one of its most expensive attractions to be built. Sentosa 4D Magix is an interactive experience which is sort of similar to a digital movie or a simulator ride. It is both a digital movie and a simulator ride added up together plus 10 times the fun. Imagine a spectrum of visual effects and surround sound that synchronize with individually-controlled motion seats and “live” environmental effects such water sprays. This attraction would certainly give you a mind blowing experience. Sentosa Cineblast Sentosa Cineblast is Sentosa’s state of the art simulation ride which will set the visitors screaming and gripping the seat handles tightly. Experience nothing you have experienced before like taking the worst roller coaster plunge in your life and being tossed around madly by white water rapids. This is something that is definitely not for the faint hearted. Underwater World / Dolphin Lagoon The Underwater World oceanarium on Sentosa is home to more than 2,500 fishes from 250 different species. Start off the tour by visiting the ‘Touch Pool’ where you can touch starfishes, stingrays and baby sharks for those who have the guts. Then venture into the ocean depths via a moving travellator that will bring you through acrylic tunnels where you can see different kinds of marine life swimming pass and above you gracefully. For those who seek more excitement, there are sessions which you can swim with the sharks. Included in the ticket price is a visit to the Dolphin Lagoon. At here, you will get to see the highly intelligent Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins through a series of interactive, feeding and training sessions specially designed to demonstrate their natural ability of tail-walking synchronization. For visitors who are lucky enough, they might even get a peck on the cheek from the dolphins. Fort Siloso Tours Fort Siloso is the only preserved fort left after the after the Japanese Occupation. There, you will find interactive exhibits and life-sized replicas showcasing the life of people during the Japanese Occupation, the soldiers’ life at the fort and other Japanese Occupation and World War II memorabilia. Besides that, visitors can also head on out to examine the actual guns and cannons or explore the old tunnels that was left behind after the years. Sentosa Golf Club Sentosa Gold Club is Singapore’s most exclusive and beautiful gold clubs which boasts two magnificent championship 18-hole golf courses and is highly regarded as one of the best golfing destinations in Asia. The Club is fully equipped with buggy facilities, chipping and putting greens, pro-shop, a luxurious clubhouse, relaxation rooms, business and F&B facilities. Songs of the Sea Songs of the Sea is Sentosa’s latest and newest attraction. Situated outdoor on the beach, it brings you a spectacular show with a live cast and dynamic effects pyrotechnics, water jets, lasers, computer imaging and captivating music and stunning flame bursts. Songs of the Sea will definitely capture the attention visitors of all ages. The Flying Trapeze First of a kind in Singapore, The Flying Trapeze aims to set the scene for more excitement and fun for the visitors to Sentosa. This is a very excellent form of sport as it strengthens and develops one’s mental and physical state. Most importantly, if helps those with the phobia of heights to overcome it through a fun activity. But do note that the minimum age requirement is at least 4 years old. Pregnant ladies and those with medical conditions are greatly discouraged from engaging in the activity.
